Kremlin sees no reason to worry about ruble weakening
MOSCOW, Oct 3 (PRIME) -- The Kremlin sees no ground for concern about weakening of the ruble below 100 against the U.S. dollar, spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"No, there is still no reason for concern. There are fluctuations,” the official said.
“However, we live in the ruble zone, this is why excessive attention to the U.S. dollar rate may have emotional reasons, but is a rudiment of the past. We must get accustomed to living in the ruble zone."
The government and the central bank ensure Russia's macroeconomic stability fully, Peskov also said.
